Congratulations to the Marist Sisters’ College Woolwich Class of 2024 on your outstanding Higher School Certificate (HSC) results! 

Our school ranked in the top 150 in The Sydney Morning Herald rankings, placing 146th in the state.

We also recorded 57 Distinguished Achievers, 1  All Rounder and 1 Top Achiever.

Marist Sisters’ College Woolwich Principal Dr Anne Ireland congratulated Year 12 on their fantastic effort and achievements.

“The remarkable achievements of our Class of 2024 reflect their resilience, dedication, and a deep commitment to excellence. These outstanding results, highlighted by an ARTEXPRESS selection in Visual Arts and a record number of Band 6s, showcase the creativity and passion cultivated by our exceptional Creative Arts department. 

“Our Year 11 Accelerated Advanced Mathematicians also excelled, achieving top band scores, while Humanities, PDHPE, and English Extension 2 students demonstrated academic rigor and a willingness to take on challenges”. 

“These accomplishments were made possible through the collaborative bonds between students and staff, high expectations, and a supportive learning environment. The perseverance and growth of our students throughout their journey are truly inspiring, culminating in extraordinary results that reflect their determination to succeed”, Dr Ireland said.

SUCCESS ACROSS THE SYSTEM 

Sydney Catholic Schools (SCS) has achieved outstanding results in the 2024 HSC with 13 of its 33 secondary schools ranked among the top 150 high schools in NSW.

SCS recorded an impressive 2819 Distinguished Achievers, 42 Top Achievers and 45 All Rounders.

Notably, eight SCS students received HSC First in Course honours.

SCS students also completed 1,921 VET courses, and earned 280 HSC Showcase Nominations across the Creative and Performing Arts, and Technology and Applied Studies.
